The Upavon Golf Course is located on free-draining chalk, so the course is rarely closed due to weather conditions.
A good challenge is provided whatever the state of your game, stretching to 6411 yards from the men’s white tees, 6025 from the yellow tees and 5439 yards from the Ladies tees.
The signature hole is the Par 3 18th which presents you with a drive across the valley to an elevated green with Pterry the Pterodactyl watching your every shot.

The main practice area is situated near the first tee and measures 220 yards long. This provides the ideal location to warm up before launching your drive down the first fairway.
There is a longer practice area for the big hitters measuring 300 yards long located in the centre of the Golf course.
Practice balls are available for a nominal fee from the Pro’s Shop.
If time is short there are two practice nets, a well-bunkered green to brush up on your short game and a practice putting green located conveniently next to the clubhouse.
The Club House
In the Clubhouse you will find a well-stocked bar and comfortable seating area, whether for a pre-game bite to eat to build up the reserves or a drink to celebrate/drown your sorrows afterwards.
The food is home-prepared with many seasonal specials made by our team of catering staff.
