The Course
All the courses, designed by Adrian Stiff, provide different challenges for golfers of every ability. The course encompasses a wonderful blend of rolling countryside, lakes, streams, natural copse and woodland.
The most recent addition is the superb 9 hole Par 3 Course designed by James Edwards, with another 9 hole Par 3 already in the pipeline.
The natural contours of the landscape have shaped the design of the course, which covers 400 acres. The beauty and interest of the course is further enhanced by nine lakes, thirty-four acres of woodland and free flowing streams.
All greens have been constructed and maintained to the highest specification, and the tees are built with a sandbased root zone mix.
The Course has been sown using the highest-rated cultivators available and maintained using state of the art greenkeeping techniques and machinery. The team of dedicated green staff take tremendous pride in their work and this is reflected in the course presentation.
Practice Facilities include 10 covered bays, 10 outside teeing mats, spacious grass and superb short game area.

Driving Range
The Driving range, which opened in March 2001 boasts 10 quality indoor bays including a teaching bay offering the very latest software in video swing analysis. With another 10 bays available outdoors and a grass teeing area, the range is a spacious and quality facility with top standard range balls.
Short Game Area
The short game area, opened in 2009, is one of the best Short Game Facilities in the South West of England. The 1800 square metre USGA constructed green is surrounded by three bunkers, numerous humps and hollows and seven different specially designed teeing areas, allowing all aspects of your short game to be mastered.
Putting Greens
There are two putting greens, either side of the clubhouse. Built at the same time, and to the same standards, as the greens on the championship course, the putting greens show the same level of maturity, matching the conditions of the main greens to give you a valuable warm-up prior to your round.
Wraxall Bar and Brasserie
The stunning Wraxall Bar and Brasserie is open all day
The Wraxall is a lovely light contemporary space, constructed with a traditional oak frame and beautiful limestone floor. From here there are views over the golf course and also far reaching views of the surrounding Wiltshire countryside. It is the ideal spot to enjoy a relaxing tea or coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner.
All are welcome at Cumberwell Park, You don’t have to be a golfer or a member. You will be assured of a warm welcome.
