Event Info

An overnight stay at Coldra Court Hotel, part of the Celtic Manor Collection, with dinner, bed and breakfast and two rounds of golf, one each on Roman Road and on The Montgomerie

Both rounds are qualifying events for the Order of Merit points which are up for grabs in the race to the Tour Champs

Competition Format

The playing format for both of these Tour Events is ‘Stableford’ with a full handicap allowance, off the Yellow Tees


There will be prizes for the Winner and Runner Up for both rounds

Order Of Merit Qualifier

The Order of Merit points are awarded on the basis of 40 to the winner, 39 for 2nd, 38 for 3rd and so on.

At each event the Top 40 players will receive Order of Merit points.

After the 40th place these players will be deemed to have missed the cut and one point will be given.

The check-in time is 4pm, however, you are welcome to arrive earlier should you wish to make use of the Coldra Courts’s leisure facilities.

The Concierge service will be pleased to look after your luggage for you.

Check-out time is 11am on the day of departure

Steve King, the founder of Fore King Golf, started playing golf at the tender age of 29, after years spent playing many other sports and getting dodgy knees. Although late to the game, Steve soon fell in love with the sport and found himself, like many others, addicted to the pursuit of improvement and playing better.
